so if i put a 4ohm resistor in front of pu lead in then would that make it a 100k at full resistance.

I am building a bass with duncan lighting rods and as i was working out the electronics i realized while i was looking on the web I can't find a 100k push pull pot. (100k is what is recommended by duncan for their active pickups) I am trying not to have to drill 2 extra holes for 2 indapendent...
