What's the status on this bass? Still for sale?

I'm in. Got my Peavey VB-2 and my *uhhh...custom 2x15&2x12 Peavey/Peavey copy* cabinet. Either way they both rip together! And I'm a Peavey artist as well, so count me in. Rock!

Rock on! I got mine last week and haven't gotten a chance to fire it up yet on account of my cab situation. But I can't wait, the reviews have been bitchin' and even cooler when David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth) sends it to you! Maybe we should get a VB-2 club going seeing how we rock!

We've been making this record for over 2 years now as you can see the list of guest musicians we've compiled. So they are not cheap, and being unsigned just drags it out...

Question......Can I go to Home Depot and buy a "voltmeter" to do that OHM reading with? If so, will it just have a pointed "probe" that I just insert into the 1/4" inch jack and get my reading that way? Never done this before, so figured I'd ask you guys for all the helpful info I can before...

Thanks for the info on the OHM matter! I'm gonna see if I can measure the OHM rating myself like the post above and see what I get. And if it reads like my friend above stated, I'd at least know I'm in the ballpark of nailing it down. But thanks for the info, I really don't wanna mess up this...
