Hi. I really like the 7,25 radius that is on the 70's fenders. I emailed warmoth, a guy told me that they would have 7,25 radius 70's vibe necks sometime next month. My question is, will the 70's neck (that already is chunky on fender basses) be chunkier with warmoth?

I am considering to rather buy my neck at USACG now, and the body from Warmoth. After what I've read, the USACG necks seems better, because the warmoths are too chunky. Also they do not have the 7,25 radius which I want. So my question is really, is the warmoth body top class?

Can I send an email to Warmoth and order things I can't see on their webiste? For example: maple neck (rosew fretb.) right handed 70's style, block inlays, 7,25 radius?

If I decided to order the body and electronics from warmoth and the neck elsewhere would the neck fit? i just want the 7,25 radius neck, warmoth doesnt have it.

that's way too expensive. besides i like 70's necks with 7,25 radius, but i prefer rosewood over maple fretboard. so a 75 ri is out of the question (only maple..? hate the nat finish aswell) if i can get a bass which is just as excellent as a customized fender, i'll rather build that one from...

i guess youre right about the risk and chance you get when buying something you haven't tried out. but most likely i will get help from someone that has ordered customs a lot before. the wood quality, is it as good as fender's?

As the title says, a well-customized from warmoth or a fender jazz bass (newer productions, 62ri, mia series) I need a bass that lasts for many years and gives me a great sound. Will a warmoth custom compare to a fender jazz?

it is a used, almost mint shape condition 62 RI for the same price. will try the 76 and see. hopefully it is a good bass. thanks for replies!
