    Do they have that nice smooth feeling? I love the feeling of flats but not the sound. Experimented with half that gave me nothing. Love the clank of round but not the grind on my fingers or the stickiness of the strings.

    I have some christmas dough to spend and I'm thinking of getting the BG250-115. If I don't get the amp I'm thinking of the Sansamp Bass Driver.

    It is possible that I might use the Behringer as a home unit. Thirty bucks is hard to ignore.

    Yeah. The Behringer is thirty bucks. I've read it's cased in plastic. Breaks easily if you stomp it.

    So I'm a little confused (if it isn't obvious). So are the VT and BDDI simulating a tube amp? Is that the allure? And what does the Hartke do that is different? Is it just adding more fuzz? I've heard that the VTone is good but very fragile. Here's a link showing Sansamp vs Behringer.
