    Double Bass Two basses?

    I think that would be really cool. I'd say two electrics--a bass-rangebass and a more mid-/treble-range one--would be best. I would love to try that myself.

    I have used this for maybe seven months. I agree with jtlownds's comment about the lack of padding. it makes me sore after a long time of practising. but still, it is definitely worth the money.

    I have the Concerto in F# Minor. I printed it off IMSLP. That's about all it has though, as far as Bottesini.

    Double Bass School teachers and secondary instruments

    Clarinet is really well-rounded and will help for a lot of other woodwinds, to some extent. Baritone seems, to me, like a better choice than trumpet if you've never played a brass instrument before.

    Also, Bag Balm works really well. It's another sort of lotion--although a little more waxy--used originally to prevent the chapping of cow udders. Comes in a green little tin. I found some at my local pharmacy. It's not too uncommon, and it's really a great product.
