Thanks for the info. I thought there was some difference. I'll probably just leave it as-is for now, with the wiring: neck-only/neck+bridge. It's working well and is a different sound from either of my other ATKs (800e and 205).

I have the fretless Dean acoustic. They're only about $200 new. I put tapewound strings on it and it works great in a campfire setting with two other guitars. You absolutely do have to play like you mean it, but even then, I've been asked to play quieter. :cool:
