So I suppose it is candy apple red. Like they said in that article they're rarely look metallic in the pictures though which is why I was not sure. I think the one I have they threw an extra handful of metal flake into the mix lol.

Anyone ever seen a metallic red 66 Fender P bass before? I've been looking online for a while trying to figure out if it came from the factory like this or what and the closest thing I've found is candy apple red. I'm very curious about he paint on this one.
