I got the exact same problem with a pair of Nordstrand DC and Audere 4-band 3ZB preamp in my Watson. I also find the combination to have a very very low output. It need at least 10dB more boost than my Smith or Fender basses. The combination of noise and more boost is not the greatest. So did...
