Threw together a mini rig for tomorrow. I'm running my own patch with compression, eq, and a preamp model (Cali Bass). I haven't used my Stage Right DI in a while, but it seems to work well.

Does yours have the interesting V profile to it? I played one for the first time yesterday and I wasn't thrilled about the neck. It wasn't uncomfortable, but it's not my preferred shape. I think I'm going to build my own version over the summer, but with a more rounded profile.

Lol, I'm sure I'll find out more info soon. I enjoy playing with this WL, and I'm sure he'll pick a good team. My only real concern is making sure my skills are up to par.

I haven't played drums live for 5 months or so. I just got asked to play for a camp in June. I don't know anything about the setlist yet, and I don't know anything about monitors/click/tracks. It should be fun.

It's a busy weekend for me. I played acoustic guitar last night at a student event at my school, and I'll be playing at a different student event tonight. Sunday I'll be on bass for the first time at this church. Sunday evening I'll be on acoustic guitar for a worship night.

When in doubt, SM58. They are the most robust microphone you can buy, and they sound great with very little processing. I've seen used ones for as little as $40, but they are normally in the $60-70 range near me.

I use M Air Edit, which is for the Midas version of the XR18. As far as I know, there is no way to monitor through the app. I do find it to be far better for mixing than the iOS or Android app. A control surface just expands your options even more. You will have to run audio cables to get sound.
