    You might want to go to a guitar store and check out the mid length scale basses. They are less common but i find they are much easier to play for guitarists.

    i switched from Pro Tools to Logic and am much happier. I like a DAW that has few if any compatibility issues with plug ins, computer platform, etc... I like Logic for that. Very few hours spent trouble shooting.
