Dave Hope of Kansas was my first inspiration. My ear was drawn to the sound of his bass even before I knew what a bass was. Geddy Lee, Chris Squire, John Paul Jones, John Entwistle, George Porter Jr, Paul McCartney, Tony Levin, Mike Rutherford, tons of others!
