Yeah, lol they are heavy in comparison to the amps and cabinets today. Trust me, my BT-350 is a house to carry around, but it holds up to anything. Consider it has been around since the mid 90s and still punches.

My first bass amp was the BX 100, the company went out of business when they got sold. But you may still find some of the product around, just have to search for them. I love their sound, punchy and clean. The only other amps and cabs I use is Ampeg.

If you can find a Crate amp you will be lucky, I came across the BT-350 and love it. For those who don't know it is the the Crate BT-350 that was the proto type for the Ampeg SVT 3. Ampeg was the Parent company of Crate, which is why their gear were and are so similar. I guess you could say that...
