    Sure. Give this set up a try. I'm sure you'll like it. Fender has their version called the Blacktop. The Blacktop though is passive. You'll need a pre amp to scoop mids that you may not get from the traditional passive pbass. Can't go wrong.......... Double pbass is on steroids. Lol

    The neck pickup is warm. Very warm. However the hi/low mid on the pre amp brings out the fullness and richness of the Duncan vintage neck pickup. Clear, and bold. The bridge pickup is strong, being it's a quarter pounder. Loud. Warm and bright in the bridge pickup. If you back off the neck...
