Metal. I should say something intellectual like neo-classical or blues but that’d be a lie. I’m over 50, Metal has always been #1 and always will be!!

No band, I may get some musicians together at some point and jam.

Previously Owned Gear

Ace Frehley Washburn AF40-V - I am stupid for selling it.
Never owned a “real” instrument (Fender, Gibson, etc.) and probably never will. I can’t justify the cost.

G.A.S. List

BC Rich Ironbird, ESP 24 fret Eclipse Les Paul type guitar, Dean Metal Man Bass. Maybe one day a real Les Paul if I can get past that obnoxious “play authentic” Gibson video.

Roger Filiberto - Author of Mel Bay's Electric Bass Method Vol. 1 & 2 and Position Studies for Electric Bass

Billy Sheehan - He loves his instrument and is a master of it.

Alex Webster - The author of “Extreme Metal Bass” book/CD!!

Gene Simmons - his ideas for bass are refreshing. He likes short scale basses, symmetrical shapes, gloss black paint, chrome hardware because it “looks cool“, he plays with a pick. I like his originality.

Hobbies and Interests

Woodworking. Building speaker cabinets, making small and/or vintage loudspeaker drivers perform at their absolute best.
