A literal sleeper! My Ibanez BTB866SC, “Excalibur.” Now with Aguilar DCB-D4 soapbars, an Aguilar OBP-3TK preamp, Hipshot USA Ultralite tuners, push/pull volume for passive mode, and an array of electronics upgrades. All of that hard work just to look nearly identical to stock all over again. 😁

Ok so I know I’m over a decade late to the party, but I found this thread while researching a modified bass that I own. It appears to keep bass, mids, treble, and even the 400/800 Hz mid-frequency toggle switch with the battery removed. I’ve been trying to understand the wiring and wondered if...
