I guess this could be a poll question, or something like that, but there are too many choices to my thinking, so I am just going to ask for opinions. I have been through a lot of F Basses and at least twice as many pre-amps. We all know the factions that want as close as possible to this amp...

I don't really know, so the best I will get is, maybe. However, looking at the bottom of those and the tops of the exposed poles in deluxe pickups, it would seem that they are. I think someone that has done a bit more dissection or Marcel could only say for sure.

I have an AC Classic and it is the best fretless I have played; I've played quite a few. I liked the chambering so much, I asked for it in a BN and love it too.

Alembic site describes the elliptical process where the thinner edge is on top, for lack of a better way to say it. It was believed that Dean Markley made them for Alembic. I think Victor is most of what has been said here. Whenever I get a chance to listen to him, I do. His teaching and music has likely inspired countless bassist to grow and even start their players journey. His take on what a bassist, or base player, should do for a band should be what we all...

Easily the only metric that matters. Properly configured is the best use case, regardless of the complexity.

I used to run stereo with a Ric as you describe. It is how I went way deep down the Helix rabbit hole. In the end, for me at least, it seemed a lot of work and fiddling for my benefit. I am not sure anyone else noticed. I am sure if I could play like Stanley Clark, someone might care...

I was just shopping the Boomers guages. Once I wear this set out, I will go that way if they are still out of stock. I used them on several basses once upon a time.
