This is precisely the way I’ve mounted mine - easy on, easy off. The problem is that rocking out, aggressive technique, or fingers off the end of the finger board will cause it to detach - as in mid-performance!

Rick had my (close to 20 yr old) AI Focus 2R head in for repair at the time of his passing. His son gave me the sad news telling me that his dad had fully repaired AND updated my amp before he died. I still use that head today. I thank Rick and family for the integrity they brought to the business.
