Fender American Deluxe Jazz 2015 noise problem

I have the exact same problem with my 2013 American jazz deluxe. I'm thinking of selling it because I've brought it to 2 technicians and if they don't hear the problem first hand, they can't know how to fix it nor would they know if it's fixed until you go to one of those venues. I do recall...

Mesa Subway D-800+ vs WD800 - Which is less noisy of the two?

On a side note, which amp do you prefer?

Mesa Subway D-800+ vs WD800 - Which is less noisy of the two?

Understood, I will get a second opinion and worse case, swap out my Pickups.

Mesa Subway D-800+ vs WD800 - Which is less noisy of the two?

It was purchased new at a store. I will do some more research on the pickup itself.

Mesa Subway D-800+ vs WD800 - Which is less noisy of the two?

No cable plugged but as soon as I plug in the Fender bass, the noise remains, but when I plug in my Bacchus bass, the noise goes away. As for the DI, we did try to lift the ground switch and it didn't make a difference. I will take your advise and roll up my sleeves to see what is under the hood.

Mesa Subway D-800+ vs WD800 - Which is less noisy of the two?

Great analogy. If this was a constant issue, the technicians would be able to target in on the problem. Before I think of changing the pickups, I will get a second opinion on verifying the soldering.

    They are definitely N3 pickups.

Mesa Subway D-800+ vs WD800 - Which is less noisy of the two?

I'm guessing the noiseless pickups are not so noiseless after all. I am running both pickups and most of my gigs I'm going through a GK MB500 amp and DI to the FOH. I could get a second opinion on the wiring/soldering. I did find a space in my house which caused interference and before even...

Mesa Subway D-800+ vs WD800 - Which is less noisy of the two?

I did have a certified Fender technician verify and he said all is fine.

Mesa Subway D-800+ vs WD800 - Which is less noisy of the two?

The source of the issue is mainly venues with lots of interference and the single coil static like noise interferers to the point where the soundman tells me to change bass, which I always carry a MM which has humbuckers. The Fender Jazz Deluxe is stock unless there is something wrong with the...

Mesa Subway D-800+ vs WD800 - Which is less noisy of the two?

Good day, I have a number one bass which I can't use much in certain venues because my stock single coil pickups (noiseless 3) are very noisy. I've narrowed down the 2 amps I like but out of the 2, which one would interfere less with noisy pickups? The Mesa Subway D-800+ is solid state preamp...

Noiseless 3 Jazz pickups sometimes noisy - looking for alternatives

Hi JimC, that's interesting. I'll follow up with Gallien Krueger and check it out. So you're saying before the fix, it was noisy? Thanks Louie

Noiseless 3 Jazz pickups sometimes noisy - looking for alternatives

That's a good question, how can you know if it's the pre-amp and not the pick-ups? Louie

Noiseless 3 Jazz pickups sometimes noisy - looking for alternatives

Would anyone know if the stock pre-amp can be bypassed when switching to passive mode (wiring to bypass pre-amp)? Louie
