Maybe a DemonFX chorus ? It's an Analogman clone and usually works very well on bass.

In my case, I generated the OD via a Tech21 VT Bass (v2), giving it out as woolly, not fully saturated, probably just 1-2 degrees before calling it distortion. Like pushing the tubes, but not full tilt. When placing the MXR Stereo Chorus before, it took some of the wool away and to compensate...

Even if it doesn't work for me with the pedals I have, I do think it's a good idea to experiment and maybe a particular set of pedals will work for a player. I'm not sure I would like my bass to sound like a rythm guitar, but I haven't heard what he heard, maybe he's got that combination...

I gave it a couple of trys with different pedals, but it never worked really workedd out, I felt it changed the drive pedal's OD sound. Don't remember all the pedals I experimented that chain with, but the MXR Stereo Chorus placed before the VT Bass (v2) tamed the drive too much to my liking.

No, mine stopped working at some point (2020 ?) and I purchased a Broughton Audio HPF, which I still use. I'm not sure fDeck makes them anymore ?
