The only thing that would disturb me is why is bridge pickup mounted up side down.

Gene Simmons influenced hundreds of thousand people all over the world to start playing a bass guitar, including me and I sincerely thank him for that. His bass lines are genuine and very difficult to be created.

I have 72 P and mine sounds closer to A track so my guess is A= 72 , B=62.

I sent a company e-mail about broken 'A' string and within a few minutes I received e-mail with their apology and that they'll send new A string free of charges today. At least I'm very pleased with their customer support service.

Unfortunately same bad experience here. Yesterday I opend brand new set of strings pyramid gold 640/B long scale and 'A' string broke few seconds after I installed it on my bass. It broke near ball end........:bawl::bawl:

I used trubass 88s for many years and was not happy with E string definition, difficult to get intonated,on the other hand D and G are best tape sounding strings to my ears. Recently I switch to la bellas and love clarity of E string but G string is bit thin sounding compare to trubass G string.

I'm Czech and I play us made 72 precision bass and it's one of the best sounding instrument made on this planet.....

I assume the best think is to record one or two songs and get a real picture about timing and so on..:bawl:

13 years ago I put on rotosound true bass 88 tapewounds on my bass and let me tell you wound not find better set of strings in whole wide world.

I voted ebony especially on fretless boards but my main beast is 72 p-bass maple board.
