It's an original tune that we'll release as a single. It's a country ballad. Don't have the track yet as it is being mastered.

I should add though, thanks for your feedback, it will help us in being better prepared in the future.

    1. We’ve played with a click at every rehearsal since we started playing together and most live shows. 2. Prepared for tempo adjustments in song and still were able to achieve that without a click I think. This particular track has an acoustic intro through the first chorus so it lends well to...

It wasn’t the producer, it was the engineer, big difference.

I would hope not, this studio was pretty legitimate with all the latest bells and whistles, and he owns it. He knows his stuff.

Paying at a discounted rate, but enough that it was still an investment for a band of our level.

What about the opposite case though? We WANTED a click and he wouldn’t let us use one. Our drummer does a good job keeping time. On this particular track, it was acoustic only until the second chorus so a click would have been useful.

Ive had the opportunity to play out with a newly formed country band with some really talented musicians. We play mostly covers but are working on some original tunes to mix in. We had a connection through one of our band members to cut a song in a high end studio because his cousin is in...
