SOLD Squier Classic Vibe 60’s Precision, OG run 2010 Fiesta Red

The stigma squier..Slab rosewood board, all original minus an upgrade to a solderless gunstreet harness as I was planning on a pick up upgrade, or roulette is more like it..but in my experience it actually doesn’t get much better than what is in here from the factory. Someone mounted the tug...

    SOLD Roger Waters Precision Neck

Nice neck, loaded with the original 70’s style fender tuners bought it recently for a project build and went another route. The 1.75” nut width just wasn’t what I ultimately wanted on my frankenjazz. So here it is for someone else to use. Brass nut Frets are good, straight, truss rod is heel...

I’ve found it, and it’s not American

A lot of geography buffs on here. Also Jamaica? I just had to google that.. haha. You all know what I meant.

I’ve found it, and it’s not American

nice run through, yeah I’ve been on a bit of a “soul searching” thing here as I’ve spent so much time chasing and researching and tweaking and putting this neck on that etc. I’m down collection wise to the squier and now the 50’s classic. I sold all of my guitars as well, outside of my Martin...

I’ve found it, and it’s not American

I’ve only played an MIJ offset tele. Never had the pleasure of playing a bass in that realm. No real availability to get your hands on one without the online shuffle. Is there a legit outlet in New England for bassists I may be missing?

I’ve found it, and it’s not American

At the 12th, 1mm I use the mm side of my measuring device. That’s the rub relief is 0.0 lol no backbow nut is perfect for this. I will note I wasn’t this low until I got the TI’s on it. I get a sizzle if I dig I wouldn’t even call it buzz tbh. No fret out anywhere on the neck none of the...

I’ve found it, and it’s not American

The tele bass in general has been on my radar for a long time, that neck pup thump must be something. The one that really gets my goat is the one with two humbuckers maybe modern player series?

I’ve found it, and it’s not American

My favorite outside of this one has been a Fiesta 2010 Squier 60's classic vibe, that is CGS made (China). I thought the hunt was over then, but I set out on a 1.75 nut width, nitro... I've also just had an affinity now for 1 piece maple necks.. as every rosewood board neck (that I've run into...

I’ve found it, and it’s not American

Brings up an interesting point of the “dual citizenship” of the people that work in the Mexican and American fender factories being that they’re so close together. I guess it’s kind of like triple a ball and the MLB.

I’ve found it, and it’s not American

Very true, I’m just happy that all of my boxes were checked for around 1k gently used, and it took to this setup without mechanical manipulation for the truss etc. I’m just gloating (lucky) a bit I suppose. My instance is a 2015 to btw, so on the tail end of the run. Right Before vintera I...

I’ve found it, and it’s not American

That RW series is a true winner as well. It is from the same production period as the bass I picked up. Someone at Fender had the idea to keep a few options in that run of the Classic Series/RW as NOS with nitro and god bless that person. Hard shell case included too which is unheard of. I know...

I’ve found it, and it’s not American

does a precision bass get that much better really, when you REALLY encapsulate what your getting. I understand MIA, American labor costs more. etc Vintage is vintage and also hit or miss. Hence them not using lacquer finishes on anything but the artist series RW stuff now which is okay, I had a...

I’ve found it, and it’s not American

I was always usually 1.5-2mm on everything else I’ve set up and played regularly. I’ve never gotten a set up this low without the usual problems. I do play relatively light finger style, I think I’m enjoying the sizzle a bit more here and it’s almost all luck with this particular bass at this point.

I’ve found it, and it’s not American

I recently picked up a classic series 50’s nitro p bass. And put T.I. Flats on it..also a first. My action is 1.0mm neck is dead straight. I’ve never felt this before…is this the “one”? anyone else have this love affair with a MIM or “lower” and happy you found something sans the extra 1-2k...
