pignose hog 30 12 volt question

I checked the adapter again and I was mistaken, it does read center positive. I hadn't had any luck finding the info on the internet and appreciate reddesert for clarifying that. Now I can proceed with going direct to my 12 volt system. Thanks

pignose hog 30 12 volt question

Greetings, After quite some time of on again and off again looking for a pignose hog 30 I stumbled across one at a music store which is in the process of moving and got a pretty good deal. The seller said he thought the battery was no good and was reflected in the price. That was fine because...

Double Bass what vehicles for hauling bass fiddle

Thanks for all the input and other threads to look at. I have definitely been leaning towards a Subaru Outback(preferably a Legacy Wagon with fewer bells and whistles) but wasn't sure about space. I will check out the Matrix also. My logistical problem is I am at least 45 miles from anywhere...

Double Bass what vehicles for hauling bass fiddle

I can't seem to find anything here about what vehicles db players drive. I am looking to upgrade my vehicle situation and hopefully get a decent used later model(around 2005 or so). My basic criteria are as follows: 1. Haul a 3/4 size bass and a passenger or two. 2. Some decent clearance and...

What is the real power rating of Peavey XR600B

YEs, I am concerned about power consumption. I'm pretty certain the 600w rating is continuous. I don't expect to get above half volume or so as we are just adding to the atmosphere, not the main show.

What is the real power rating of Peavey XR600B

I have to have a pa for a small benefit for our local library. Since it is basically an outside plant sale I thought it would be nice to have the music powered by the sun. Here is my question. I have a Peavey XR600B which states on the back is 800w. I plan to run mostly mics for acoustic...

Gathering thoughts and ideas on a small DC powered bass amp; DIY or otherwise.

1958Bassman brings up some good points. I am trying to keep costs down and plan on going the Pawn shop, thrift store, Craig's List etc. circuit. And as far as power alot of the time I would be using it to practice by plugging into my 12volt house system or onto a deep cycle marine battery in...

Gathering thoughts and ideas on a small DC powered bass amp; DIY or otherwise.

The idea of a preamp pedal, 100W car amp and a cab is along the lines of what I was thinking. Someone made the point about the size of the cab and I hope to learn more about that. One fella I was talking with suggested a Line 6 bass foot pedal. I have researched it some and get the idea but...

Gathering thoughts and ideas on a small DC powered bass amp; DIY or otherwise.

I have an upright but loaned it out to a young fella because it took up so much room in our 16'x16' w/ a loft cabin. Not to mention the hassle of hauling it around in bad weather. There are two types of inverters and the ones that work with alot of electronics are presently very pricey(but...

Just alittle backgound so you folks know where I am coming from. I am a 60 yr. old man living in the backwoods of arkansas in a small cabin with my wife. The farm is way off the grid so we have a very basic 12 volt solar/battery powered system. I have been playing music for about 40 years and...
