I know they're at different tunings, thank you, and the best tuning to choose is generally dependant on the driver you're using and the tone you're chasing. Exactly my point. We are in agreement here. I don't know why you're trying to take issue with it.

Yes we all know that, it's not rocket science. Don't blame me for the nomenclature, I know the port has a tuning, and I know it's different than your standard tuned port, and it's also different, as you say, than the "port" of an open back cab, hence different from either. It's not rocket science.

And for future reference maybe more people would speak up on topics like this with their real world experience if you guys weren't so quick to jump down their throats for it.

No one "sells" detuned cabs. You can turn any multi driver cab into a detuned cab. What I don't understand is the hostility towards the concept given you're not sure what it entails. And for what it's worth, as stated I'm using an Eminence CB158 in my cab, so no guitar driver.
