Downunderwonder: First of all, I'm looking at these things online. And on the front of either version, they both say only YBA200 (although the regular script logo version may be referred to in the ad or post as a YBA200-2). Only by looking on the back, as you suggest, does it then show YBA200-2...

So if you have a YBA200, with Autobias, and YBA200-2, without Autobias, would the difference between the two logos indicate which one is which (ie: winged logo = Autobias, regular script logo = no Autobias), or is the logo difference unrelated to the Autobias issue? I realize, of course...

What's the difference (if there is any) between a Traynor YBA200 (with the winged Traynor logo) and a Traynor YBA200-2 with the regular Traynor (sort of underlined) script? Thanks.

This (see pic below) is why I thought it could have been a Gretsch, a Gretsch Jet Baritone. But the pickguard is wrong and the controls are laid out differently. The Gretsch controls lay southwest to northeast. The Danelectro controls lay northwest to southeast, just the opposite ... and that NW...

Hmm? I just now read that apparently McCartney uses this very same set of strings on his Hofner. So perhaps the complaints I read must have coincidentally involved an oddball bum set of strings ... and they took the time to complain about it. If true, rightfully so, of course.
