    I will try to inspect more closely when I get access to it again as it is at grandmas house. Since the mystery cobra bass has gotten so much interest I will get some more photos as well. Im just not sure when.

    They belong to my wife’s grandmother now. I already bought the one that was most sentimental to her. Its a 1979 Matsumoku Epiphone Emperor Thinline hollowbody. Unfortunately I dont have a large sum of money to buy them all!

    Im going to at least have a look under the electronics cover. I don’t know that i will go as far as taking the kneck off to look for markings.

    He has a closet full of guitars and basses so I have not really had a chance to spend much time with any of them. I just was able to look at all of them yesterday morning.

    I appreciate your input. It’s definitely valuable to me. It does look really similar to your photo. Next time I go over to her house I am going to have to have a look at the jack on the side and see if it is the same.
