Just switched from a SWR basic 350 to a GK GB500 Fusion.... WOW

Yeah I looked up the bass cab too as I bought it a few years ago on a whim and couldn't remember much about it. There is definitely a sticker on the back that states "200W" not "250W" which is strange because I couldn't find anything about a 200W cab either. It looks exactly like the one linked...

The speaker cab is labeled MAG212 and is rated for 200W (RMS I assume). The impedance is 8 Ohm so that should mean a healthy 350W of power on tap. I should comfortably be able to destroy the speakers should it be necessary ;-)

I've also tried recording using just the DI and there's s veritable smorgasbord of great tones readily available. Can't see me using my Sansamp bass driver for a...

Just switched from a SWR basic 350 to a GK GB500 Fusion.... WOW

Recently I've started picking up the bass again after a long hiatus. I dusted off my old SWR basic 350 and it still worked but sounded kind of thin. I recalled I never really did like the SWR sound even after playing semi professionally with it for a few years. After reading up on bass amps on...
