I love the RV-3 on bass, especially if I am running a separate effects loop with eq. I'll run the high end out through the RV-3 and it's gorgeous sounding! I'm also a huge fan of the metal zone on bass... but it's kind of a pain to get the right EQ. It sounds wonderful on my piccolo bass...
