Current Setup: Favorite is a '78 p/j bass. Ash body, maple fretboard, badass II bridge with bassline pickups. I use 105 Roto's. My back-up is a '62 reissue J bass also with a badass II bridge and 105 Roto's again. I play 200 - 250 gigs/year and only use these basses live. No matter what I plug them into (if doing a gig with backline provided) they sound great. ALWAYS. I have two amp set=ups depending on the gig. My main amp is an Eden Time traveller 330 with an SWR Goliath III ported, 4 x 10 bottom. If I do amphitheatre gigs, I bring an SWR Son of Bertha 1 x 15 bottom to split the Ohms with the 4 x 10 and get that massive bottom end that delivers well outdoors. Club gigs, I just bring the 4 x 10 bottom. I have a line-out from the Eden if I run into the board. My studio set-up is an '92 SWR SM 400. Enough said there. Dialing in tone was never so easy... but I do not gig with that amp anymore as it's too hard to find parts if it craps out.... I use the Eden for live gigs. The SWR gives a very warm tone for sure and I love to record with it.

Favorite Genres: I listen to and play a wide variety of music. Everyone needs a bass player and guitarists, while I love them, are plentiful. I DO play guitar as well... like a lot of guys but I do not confuse the two. Guitar influences: Hendrix, SRV, Eddie, Satriani, Gary Moore

Gigs and Ensembles: I play Rock on Monday, Tues & Wed, Thursdays, I play blues with S. Florida Blues Society, Weekends I catch gigs with Blues, Country, rock & hard rock bands. I also play guitar.

Previously Owned Gear: Peavey amps, GK amps. Acoustic amps, Hartke amps... I've tried them all. The Eden is by far the most reliable... so far anyway... I am about 7-800 gigs down the road with that amp and it has never not worked well. Never. The only amp I might switch out for would be an SVT Ampeg.

G.A.S. List: I'd love to get a 5 string J bass. Gear-wise, that's about all I am missing.

Influences and Teachers: John Entwhistle, Mccartney, Chris Squires, Geddy Lee, Jame Jameson, Bootsy Collins, Stanley Clark, And the man, Victor Wooten. My instructor when I lived In NYC Matt Feinberg (A Berklee Grad). He made the lessons seem like everything made total sense. Awesome theory teacher. If you're in NYC, I HIGHLY recommend him. He makes it easy.
