After reading other comments, Top doesn't refer to the stepping surface but rather the top edge (as in where all my Boss pedals have the power Jack, duh). Top edge it is. It would solve all my issues. Also, any pedal with stereo should use a TRS Jack instead of two mono jacks.

I own and love my Ampeg SVP PRO. I run it thru a Carvin HD 1500 into a pair of Hartke 4x10's. I shake the house and I'm clear as a bell.

Why not use your bass rig? I use 1/2 of mine in small clubs. I have 2 Hartke 4x10 cabs. Small places I use only one. And teeny tiny places I still use one 4x10 and I use my direct out to the mains.
