I had the Os before the EPs, nice bounce but the roll bugged me a lot after six months or so.

Thanks for the great feedback. My bass was a cannon with EPs but I think my left hand prefers the Slaps even though my right hand is slower on them.

Anyone have any tone setting recommendations? I can't seem to get the contour and high boost set in a way I like. I'm using a copper realist.

I think the OP's question is easily answered but what I want to know is why there are so few available/instock choices of flats at the stores. To stay on topic somewhat, I play upright, have flats on my fretless P, rounds on my J and my Modulus.

I can not use my realist equipped bass in high volume situations. As soon as the other instruments make the top of my bass vibrate it's a one way ticket to feedback city. Maybe we have different definitions of higher volumes.

My American Standard is about 43", a 3/4 and I'm average size and it plays fine to me but then again I play mostly bluegrass
