Another vote for an Ibanez SR (in whatever flavor), if a skinny neck and dual HBs are what you're looking for.

I've had an L-2000 Tribute, that neck is fatter than a P, definitely NOT jazz-ish in any way.

You might want to check out the Sterling by Music Man SUB Ray4 HH. Double humbuckers, 1.5" nut width and within your budget.
