    ohms and amps? Confused

    I have an Orange Terror bass head that has a 8 ohm and 4 ohm switch and two speaker outputs. If I run two 8 ohm cabinets, each connected to its own speaker output from the amp do I set the ohm switch on the amp to 4 ohms? Anyone help me with this?

    Hey all! New to Talk Bass. Looks like a wealth of info for sure! I have played upright bass for several years with Rockabilly and R&B bands. I have recently been playing with a Surf/Garage band and switched to electric bass. Man, I love it! Looking forward to learning a thing or two!
