Hi Soulstar, Right. The strange thing is, no hiss in Bass => NBP5 => Amp or even Bass => MAudio (headphone out) situation. Only in Bass => NBP5 (headphone) or => MAudio situation. Are u experiencing the same?

Unfortunately, BandLab can detect it (got pop-up notification) but once hits the record button. no wave is presented

Yes, adaptor as in wall wart power supply (sorry I get used that term power supply is referring only to a bigger-multi inputs unit like voodoo etc.). Nux=500mA, SAudio= 400mA. We can ignore IVU out of equation, for its noisy-nature even w/o NBP5 in chain. Phantom pwr is turned off.

The setup was just bass -> NBP5 (powered w/ Nux adaptor) -> MAudio XLR (powered w/ USB to android tablet). NBP5 grounding issue? hmm...is there a way to resolve it?
