They're built rock solid and play amazing while being a fraction the cost of US-made equivalents. My next bass will be a FGN JMJ2 and I just know it will shame every other J bass out there.

All you really need is a tuner and MAYBE a preamp if your bass/amp’s isn’t up to task. Anything beyond that is completely up to you

Having played both, I very much prefer the ergonomics and sound out of the Pro 2, especially the neck feel. That being said, I passed on it to instead snag an American Performer PJ body and slapped a Warmoth neck on it.
