    Not that i dont want some nice highs. looking for a full range. just dont want the low end to sound like farts

    ok, sorry if yer getting sick of me haha. I found a genz benz uber quad for 600 It looks like its meant for people that play high up a lot so it worries me a little, but looks like a sick cab. think it can handle the low end that i'm looking for? appropriate for rock/punk at all?

    thanks for replying mattbass! I'm in a experimental rock band with bass, drums and synth. not up against anything to serious. my head is a 1974 Traynor YBA-1A Mark 2 Tuber, it sounds punchy and really clear, but through the cab i have right now (which is an old peavy guitar cab) the lows...

    I'm trying to find a new cab and i was wondering how much the size and number of speakers of the cab changes the sound. I'm looking for a very deep, chest pounding tone.
