This just occurred to me the other day—does anyone know what sort of finish Peavey was using in the late 80s/early 90s? On natural finish guitars in particular? I was wondering if my Foundation was done with poly or nitro. I’d imagine the color finishes were poly, they just look it to me...

See, that was my thinking initially (before I found this original case), but when I got the Casady case in the mail and tried to fit my Ripper in it wouldn’t fit. I dunno if maybe it’s because it’s a wide body vs. the later shape.

That’s what I do currently, I store it in the case with a bungee cord wrapped around the warped section in hopes that it eventually takes the shape. Hasn’t yet though!
