So I read that the Black Widow 1502 or 1503 speakers are designed for bass guitars while the 1505 is more for PA applications? Is this correct or not?

Well the port is basically a hole in the front of the cabinet which is 3/4" plywood. There is a shelf (or baffle(?)) above the port which goes back 7" from the face of the cabinet

I will not be using biamp or crossover. I was having problems with the 300w channel dying so it's out of the picture, for now...

Dimensions overall: 22x22x13.5 Shelf for port ~5" from bottom. Port dimensions are 9.75"x2" I will be driving it with the 100w 8 ohm channel. Thanks!

I blew it up :( And was only running with my 100 watt 8 ohm channel. Can anyone recommend a good replacement speaker for this cabinet design?

Alright, I'm going to give the push-pull pot a try. Looking at DiMarzio brand. Should I go with a 500k or 250k PP, or since my volume pot will be a standard 250k, will it not really matter since the higher frequencies will already be "filtered" out? Oh, and for anyone who may be wondering, I AM...

Once again resurrecting this thread... So, to get this straight, the Brown(.05) cap is replaced with the Orange(.047) cap, and the general consensus is to remove the Blue(.02) capacitor completely [in addition to swapping the brown with orange]? Also: 500k pot for volume and 250k pot for tone...
