Influences and Teachers

David Bowling was the first I ever heard. He played for his dad Clyde untill hitting the road with Larry Sparks around 1980. He was patient enough to teach me the basics when I was 12.
I always appreciated Todd Phillips' tastefull work with the Bluegrass Album Band.
