Is it possible to arrange a small recording of the bass?
If it brings something a bit different than my 63 I might pull the trigger on this one.. Also because one of the best p's I played was a totally worn '58 I played at norm's rare guitars a few years back.
Well Besides the original '62 I have;)
The knobs where a later upgrade tho the pots are original and I have the bartolini type knobs aswell.. And an extra set of the same pots who I ordered thru Mike who got it from bartolini..
The bass is more or less sold as the buyer has told me hed wire the money over...

I didn't hear from him like in a month, he actually wanted this bass, but I see now why he didn't respond, not that that matters much.. Such a gifted and blessed bassplayer and person..

Yeah your prolly right but prices of gear in 1986/87 where quite different.. I think todays price of a mtd is about equal of a beautique instrument of that time..
I'm sure we'll find a good owner for her.. I already lowered the price a bit...
@Lo6man Ah really..wow.. Actually tried to sell it back to Tim, but he's more into uprights and he's also used to the Tyler bass he uses.. Prolly forgot how freakin good this one was;)
Actually another "Tim" wanted/wants this bass Tim Rawbizz Williams (plays now for suicidal tendencies) but...
