    The grill is removable, but there aren't any screws besides the speaker ones. In short, if there is a way to open it, it's from the amplifier module.

    Could you please develop your argument? Consider that a speaker of $72 made in Brazil is like a $100 or $120 boutique speaker made in the USA, since in Brazil labour work is less expensive... mutatis mutandis, it's like buying a Weber-quality speaker.

    Ibanez SRA550 / SRA555

    I have this bass and it suffers from an issue which makes the neck pickup noisy and low output. Removing the battery and reconnnecting it solves the issue. I went to the store and the other unit presented the same issue.
