Tried it at my gig Friday night. I'm a believer. Crazy how something so simple clears up the sound. Why haven't companies figured this out a long time ago and built cabs this way?

I always have a stand but set it off to the side. I sing, run sound and play bass. And I've smoked way to much dope in my days so my memory is shot. Lol. I mostly just look at it before a song if I need to remember lyrics or other notes and chicken scratches I have for myself.

I'm only concerned about the sound to the audience. I use in ears and can't imagine stacking them differently will effect what I hear. I bet I will definitively feel it in my chest more.

Yeah I like it. Been taking it to gigs instead of my MIA Jazz lately. Won't cry as much if something happens to it and it is a great bass.

I use in ears but the dispersion is what interests me. Is it because you get the speakers above bodies allowing it to be absorbed less or is it because to the ears the sound is the same coming from one fixed point making it appear tighter? Or both? I'm going to try this next gig. May have to...

Ok what is a name of a good thread that covers the engineering behind this. I'm very perplexed now and want more info. I searched but couldn't really find what I was looking for.

ok I get that everyone likes the speakers lined up for consistent sound but is there a real difference stacking them vertically instead of horizontally? As in side by side. Or is it just to get it up closer to your ear.
