    When to write a sharp or flat ?

    Hi, was hoping to get some guidelines regarding when to specify a sharp vs flat note. If, on the E String, I went from the first fret (F) to second fret , would I write the music note as a F# or Gb? Also, for other scenarios, such as from E-2 to A-1. Thanks!

    Tuning with PocketGK Bass Amp Ap

    Hello, Can anyone explain how the tuner included with PocketGK App works? Seems like it does not use open string notes. Because I have no amp, and only use the App, I am unable to use an alternate tuner. Thanks!
