    Craziest string setup/Tunings

    I recently started experimenting with an e-brake cable from a 1970's Chevy Suburban. It's on a short scale, and I moved my EA&D down, lost the A, and tuned to BEAD. makes a great sub-dub style sound, think I'm gonna nuke my practice amp tho.

    Cobra bass, any info appreciated.

    its an sg style, the only markings it ever had were sanded off, but on the back of the headstock it said "Cobra" nothing fancy just regular printing. pretty sure its an asian knock off, but it means a lot to me and i'd like to know more about it. thx, blake
