I've been playing Dunlop medium scale flats on my JMJ Mustang. Switched from GHS precision flats. If you're looking for more articulation/definition on your E string I would definitely recommend them. They're more modern than La Bella's, but not quite as modern as something like Ernie Ball...

What I find interesting is that the silks are so inconsistent string to string. Maybe the OP just got a unique set. The Dogal CarbonSteel Round Wound are round core, which would account for the low tension. They are also described as soft feeling on Stringsbymail's website. Just speculating.

It's about 36.5 to 37 inches. It varies string to string.

I have Dogal Jaco Flats on my P-bass which have the same color. Could it be one of their round wound offerings?
