Thanks both. I did get all the original spares as well. I'll double check the slot and the saddle (maybe the spare too). Hopefully I can get a more even sound with a few re-seatings.

I picked up a used Ibanez EWB205 5-string acoustic for a great price. It has a Fishman Sonicore pickup, which looks like a string and is soft and flexible. The problem I have is the A string's volume is much lower than the others. I'm under the impression that piezo pickups either work or don't...

The bridge pickup definitely still works. I just tried tapping, and I can also hear it mixed in with the neck when the blend is in the middle and up to about 70% towards bridge. Beyond 70%, the bridge cuts out completely.

Ah, I was hoping the pot was fine after the multimeter test. Thought maybe it could’ve been a wiring/soldering issue. May just have to go without the bass for 2-3 weeks or play with only neck pickup for now...
