    Double Bass EUB -- A Good First Step Toward DB??

    My daughter is moving aboard our boat and is passionate about the DB. I'd like to let her practice more, so I'm thinking about an EB. Is it really not at all the same?

    My daughter is moving on our boat with us, and plays DB. Could I buy her an EB to practice on, with the thought that some practice is better than none? Assuming she practices at school on a DB? Thanks!
