    Yamaha BB424/1024 pickups

    Compared to a Fender American Standard P Bass, the Yamaha BB424 has the most open and metallic sound. The Fender has a softer, fluffy sound. I often say that the Yamaha BB424 is a Fender P Bass with steroids. Magnificent instrument. Cheers, Peter

    According to this site (http://www.ibanezcollectors.com/discus/messages/5751/8404.html), my bass is the end of 2010. The funny thing is that on the back of the hand it says "Made in China" and the code starting with "J" should say that was produced in Indonesia... :hmm:
