I just got a souldier strap for my 09 pbass to match the old ace strap on my 65. :)

i'm up to 5, kind of unintentionally... a while back i posted about how i used a 2009 fender american p-bass that belonged to my work to record on, so i was switching from my rick's to p-basses... i bought a '72, it was ok... it's now my back-up. because i bought a '65 that plays like butter...

I started on jazz basses, and then moved to rics, which I have two of. But I recorded my band's last album on a 2008 American p that sounded great (and that I no longer have access to). I've been looking for a good vintage p now and in trying them out I'm hearing about half having a fuzzy...

i just started using this combination this week. i love it so far. first gig with it this weekend, so we'll see! it was definitely very boomy at first. but tweaking could get me anywhere from a smooth creamy sound up to matt freeman treble craziness. i'm happy with what i've got now, and think...

gah.... i'm struggling with this one. looks so cool. but i just bought an amp today! selling some stuff on ebay, and if it goes well and this bass is still around this weekend, i'll be pm'ing you. free bump for awesome lookin bass. :p
