    Thanks everyone for your input. Like Murphy and Matrok I have also had the amp looked at .... the guy couldn't find anything!!!??? I think I'll start looking for a new amp. It's a shame because I really like the amp but I need reliability.

    Yes I use both tube and solid state when it happens.
